YOUTH DANCE ACADEMY

This project was carried out for a youth dance academy located in Maioris, Mallorca, which commissioned us to transform a main wall of the space with a powerful and dynamic mural. The mural surface measured 3 x 8 meters, allowing us to develop a large and dynamic scene to reflect the academy’s creative and energetic spirit. The client wanted to depict the classic breakdancing “circle.” The intention was to create a mural that not only decorated the space but also reinforced the academy’s identity and celebrated urban dance culture.

The creative process combined spray paint and painting techniques to capture the dynamism, physical energy, and fluidity of typical breakdancing movements. During the execution of the professional graffiti, we carefully considered every line and volume to convey a sense of movement, depth, and rhythm, as if the scene were alive on the wall. The composition was designed so that the figures appear to interact with each other and with the viewers, creating a direct visual connection with the young people who frequent the space daily. The use of colors and contrasts was carefully considered to enhance the feeling of energy and reflect the vitality of urban dance.
At WE PAINT, we would like to thank the Maioris dance academy for entrusting us with this mural decoration project in Mallorca. A well-executed mural not only beautifies a wall but also reinforces the identity of the space, inspires its users, and becomes a memorable visual element for students, families, and visitors.
