PROFESSIONAL MURAL – PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL

This project was carried out for a private swimming pool in Palma de Mallorca. The commission consisted of painting the pool walls with images representing an authentic Mallorcan landscape, incorporating natural elements and featuring, as the main visual protagonist, a llampuga (mahi-mahi) that connects with the Mediterranean identity of the place. The surfaces to be painted measured 2 × 20 meters, allowing us to develop a wide and immersive visual composition that interacts with both the water and the surrounding indoor and outdoor environment.

The creative process focused on integrating elements of the Mallorcan landscape — gentle mountains, Mediterranean vegetation, and marine color tones — with the dynamism of local wildlife, represented by the llampuga swimming through the shapes and colors of the scenery. During the execution of the professional graffiti and mural painting, we faced one of the most talked-about challenges of the summer: the extreme heat under the Mallorcan sun, which required us to work with precision and rhythm to maintain the quality of the finish despite the high temperatures. Painting in such a bright and exposed space also inspired us to enhance the contrasts and vibrancy of the colors so that the mural would shine even under the reflection of the water.
